Meet Isabelle

Isabelle is a registered psychologist with a decade of experience supporting individuals through trauma, recovery, and significant life transitions.
Working primarily with EMDR and Parts Work, alongside other evidence-based approaches, Isabelle's clinical work focuses on recovery from traumatic events, including childhood trauma, Complex-PTSD and trauma-related dissociation.
Isabelle believes that unresolved trauma often sits beneath maladaptive and impulsive behaviours. As balance is restored, survivors are better able to respond with thoughtfulness, flexibility, and creativity—creating a positive ripple effect in their lives and relationships. She understands that healing trauma is not only deeply personal, but also relational and social, shaping and strengthening the communities we belong to.
Isabelle has extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing psychological injuries within compensation schemes, including members of emergency services and healthcare professionals across Australia.
Originally from Italy, Isabelle completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 2014. She moved to Australia and spent a decade working as a registered psychologist in Sydney before moving to Newcastle with her young family.
Isabelle is a registered Medicare provider, SIRA-accredited psychologist, and AHPRA-approved supervisor. She offers sessions in both English and Italian.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, swimming at the ocean baths, and reading classic literature and eastern philosophy.
